About Me

My name is Lukas Feinweber. I am a professional translator and have been working freelance since 2014. I am currently located in Freiburg, Germany.

I studied translation with English and Spanish at the FTSK Germersheim (University of Mainz). During my studies I specialized in technical translation and IT/media translation. I received my diploma in 2013.

Since 2014 I have been working with a developer of medical technology in Freiburg where I am translating technical and medical documentation into English. I am also responsible for linguistic quality assurance.

As a member of the BDÜ, the largest professional association of interpreters and translators in Germany, I am connected to colleagues all over the world. Since 2015 I am organizing the local BDÜ group in Freiburg.
